Concord: 100 Years of Solitude are Over
Thursday, December 11th, 2008New team, new designers, new image, new collections: all this you can see at the exhibition in Basel on the stand of the legendary brand Concord.
Primordially it was a Swiss company however it achieved a great success in the American market, this fact helps to explain its low popularity in Europe and its obscurity in Russia. Meanwhile Concord held the world record of XX century - the thinnest watch Concord Delirium with the height of 0,6 mm. It was created on the base of the famous movement ETA Delirium Tremens used in the timepiece Longines Feuille d’Or (the height of 0,9 mm).

Last year there were great changes in the company: its head office returned home to Bienn, now the company has a new president Vincent Perriar who worked for Audemars Concord_watch.jpgPiguet and for Swatch Group, and a new marketing director Stephan Feltgen who got a similar experience in Cartier and Jaeger-LeCoultre.
And in two months you can see the first result of these changes - a new and promising collection of Concord created according to the best brand traditions. If Hublot, Hysek and Ebel managed to instill new energy in the companies – so let’s expect this experiment to be successful with Concord!
